Baltic Forum Veterinary Medicine

September 21-22, 2012 in St. Petersburg, the executive director of the North-West Meat Association, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Pozdnyakov participated in the VIII International scientific and practical conference "Baltic Forum of veterinary medicine."

The event was a meeting with Danish partners. The issues related to the application in a number of countries, such as USA, Brazil, growth - ractopamine, banned in the EU and the Russian Federation, latest food safety problems in the supply of raw materials to the Russian market, the epizootic situation in Europe in Schmallenberg disease, use of standards in the area of food safety, in particular, the world standard for red meat (GRMS), developed in Denmark.
Experts of the Association as part of the conference took part in the scientific sessions on the topic "Current veterinary problems in dairy and beef cattle," and "food security."
