A meeting was initiated by contacting government agencies of the executive director of the National Union of meat and meat products Vasily Proshchenko of the excess presence in meat-processing plants veterinary professionals providing services for registration of veterinary accompanying documents for finished products and significant growth in prices for these services.
In his speech, Eugene position in capital explained that Rosselkhoznadzor specialists are not on meat processing plants on a regular basis, and do not provide services on a reimbursable basis. This piece of work as a result of the administrative reform in 2004 was transferred to the veterinary services of the Federation.
Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert in his speech confirmed that the security of food produced in the country should meet the requirements of an international veterinary legislation requiring traceability throughout the chain of production of food products of animal origin on the principle of "from field to fork", which can only be achieved with a single state structure, which is now in Russia. The introduction of electronic systems designed Rosselkhoznadzor animal identification and traceability slowed for various reasons, the internal contradictions of the supervisory authorities. The widespread adoption of such systems will make services on registration of veterinary accompanying documents free of charge to market participants.
Executive Director SZMA Dmitry Pozdnjakov in his address to the representatives of meat processing plants with the question of whether to continue the implementation of the control and supervision of the veterinary services in the meat-processing plants, has received unequivocal endorsement of the existing controls. The participants were unanimous in their opinion about the urgent need to transition to the electronic system of registration of veterinary accompanying documents for products of animal origin.
Dmitry Pozdnjakov added that the introduction of electronic systems Rosselkhoznadzor will not only ensure high levels of security and traceability of products, but also reduce the burden on enterprises design veterinary documentation. Responsible control of the Veterinary Services should be implemented throughout the chain, from issues of land preparation and feed, agro-chemical means of protection, animal health, veterinary drugs, the slaughtering process and examination of raw materials to the recycling process and the further implementation of animal products. The quality of the monitoring will be to meet international standards, provided that our legal services with all the necessary resources, both financially and technically, and in personnel terms.
