The outbreak caused by Salmonella Typhimurium occurred in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming. Two thirds of affected people were children younger than 10 years old. Almost all affected people had contact with poultry. The Rosselkhoznadzor is monitoring the situation.
