During laboratory testing of mechanically deboned poultry meat from French Establishment FR 44 180 003 CE (SOC Transformation des Volailles de l'Ouest (STVO)) Listeria were detected; mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms were found in frozen pork fat from Establishments FR 22 093 001 CE (COOPERL ARC ATLANTIQUE) and FR 22 136 006 CE (S.A. LOUDEAC VIANDES). Enhanced laboratory control for the products from these establishments is introduced.
