At the moment Rosselkhoznadzor jointly with the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety of the European Commission (DG SANTE) is working to establish system of electronic veterinary certification with bilateral international trade and transport.
Employees of Rosselkhoznadzor already have access to the information system of the EU veterinary certificates – TRACES. Now is a stage of establishing automatic export veterinary certificates from TRACES to the federal automatic information system «Mercury».
Rosselkhoznadzor is ready to take shipments on electronic veterinary certificates, which are filled with TRACES system. In this system there is all necessary information according to the forms of the established sample certificates currently in force.
In addition, DG SANCO proposed to print information from the TRACES as the paper version, and an electronic certificate to certify the signature and stamp of the EU veterinary inspectors. It is necessary to consolidate an opportunity of the use paper version from TRACES by veterinary inspectors and customs officials of the Eurasian Economic Union. Belarus support is important, because main goods flow from the EU passes through them. Paper form for Rosselkhoznadzor does not matter. All controlled goods move to the temporary storage warehouse at the territory of Russian Federation with electroni9c certificate, and then it is changed to internal veterinary certificate.
The meeting supported the initiative of the Rosselkhoznadzor. Decision-makers have promised to make all efforts for the quick development of an acceptable solution for the Commission of the Eurasian Economic Union.
